Recent college grad. Woo!
I make nerdy sculptures in my free time.

takeapartyrart:

So, I definitely lied about the time frame on finishing Mikasa. Life and job stuff got in the way. But she’s finally finished! Yay!

takeapartyrart:

All of my League of Legends sculptures! (So far…)
I just realized that I’ve never posted a group shot of them and wanted to change that.

takeapartyrart:

Terriermon sculpture that I made for my brother convinced-im-wrong because why not.

Here’s something different. My first attempt at cross stitch, based off of one I saw on Google image search with no source other than the name Riha P. A (super late) Christmas present for my long distance girlfriend.

I swear I’ve been doing work, just not posting many WIPs. Just finished up my favorite bug Pokemon, first of my PokedeXY art challenge (I’m going to give myself a year I finish because I’m trying to be realistic and don’t want to half ass any of these)

WHHHAAAT this is so cool
How do you get the pieces of clay so clean like
that is some sort of magic man

My only secret:
Pasta rollers are wonderful, wonderful inventions. Roll out a thin and perfectly uniform sheet of clay, cut out your design/layer/whatever with an exacto, then press it into the sculpture while trying not to ruin that nice hard edge.

I probably bake my sculpts far more often than I should, but it definitely helps me avoid crushing details when adding new ones.

And I guess the eldritch magic doesn’t hurt…

Since there are a couple of pugs in the family, I decided to make a pug sculpture for my entry in my family’s $15 gift exchange. This was my first time going for a more realistic sort of sculpture, and I’m really pleased with the results. Of course I forgot to take any pictures of the finished product, but hopefully I have some coming from my cousin who ended up with him.

Jigglypuff!
My dad asked me to make him his favorite Pokemon, so here it is!

(Reminder that I’m currently taking commissions!)
